About Book My Cook
What is Book My Cook?
Book My Cook sends verified cooks to your home in Delhi, Noida and Gurugram. Book BMC Daily for everyday home-style meals, or BMC Feast for a chef who cooks your party menu fresh in your kitchen. You book and pay online, and track your cook in the app.
Which cities do you serve?
Delhi, Noida and Gurugram. We match you with the nearest available cook, so service depends on your address.
How much does it cost?
BMC Daily starts at ₹449 — you choose how long you need the cook, from 1 to 6 hours. BMC Feast is priced by guests, dishes, occasion and timing, and starts at ₹350. You always see the full price before you pay.
How soon can a cook reach my kitchen?
With BMC Daily Now, a nearby cook usually reaches in about 10 minutes (available 7 AM–9 PM). Scheduled bookings need at least 3 hours' notice and can be made up to 60 days ahead.
Are your cooks background-verified?
Yes. Every cook completes identity and document verification before taking bookings, and customers rate them after every booking.
Are groceries and utensils included?
No. Your cook uses your groceries, utensils and gas. For BMC Feast you see the full menu when booking, so you can shop ahead. The cook wipes the kitchen slab and leaves the cooking area clean.
How do I pay for a booking?
Online when you book — UPI, cards, netbanking or wallets through Razorpay. Your booking is confirmed as soon as the payment succeeds.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. It's free until a cook is assigned. After that, 20% of the amount paid is charged if you cancel more than 6 hours before serving time, and 50% within 6 hours. Once cooking starts it can't be cancelled. If we can't find a cook, you're refunded in full automatically.
Do you offer a monthly cook subscription?
Not yet. You can book BMC Daily as often as you need — each booking takes about two minutes.
How do I contact support?
Email us at info@bookmycook.co or call +91 92206 92900 (Every day, 9 AM – 9 PM). You can also tap Need help? on any booking.
BMC Daily — home cook
What does a BMC Daily cook do?
Your cook makes fresh, home-style meals in your kitchen — dal, sabzi, rotis, rice and more. Tell them what you'd like, your spice level and any allergies in the notes.
How do the plans work?
You pick how long you need the cook — from 1 to 6 hours, starting at ₹449. Each plan covers a set number of dishes and people, your cook is booked for that time, and you see the exact price before you pay.
What if I need the cook for longer?
While your cook is cooking, add extra time from your booking — ₹99 for 30 more minutes. Your cook can also ask you for it.
Can I get a cook right now?
Yes — choose Now (7 AM–9 PM). Online cooks near you get your request and the first to accept usually reaches in about 10 minutes. If nobody can come within 20 minutes, you're refunded in full.
Can the cook make Jain or no onion-garlic food?
Yes. Choose it as your food preference when booking — every dish is adapted, and it doesn't change the price.
BMC Feast — party chef
What does a party chef do?
A professional chef comes to your home, cooks your party menu fresh in your kitchen and cleans up the cooking area — you just host.
Can I personalise the menu?
Yes. Pick from 780+ dishes across North Indian, South Indian, Mughlai, Indo-Chinese and more, or just choose how many starters, mains and desserts you want and let the chef plan. You can also add a dish that isn't on our list.
How much will my party cost?
It depends on the number of guests, the dishes, the occasion and the timing. You see the full price before paying, and parties start at ₹350.
Can I book a chef for a small house party?
Yes — from 1 to 100 guests. Small get-togethers, kitty parties and birthdays are all welcome.
How is a party chef different from catering?
A caterer cooks somewhere else and delivers. Our chef cooks fresh in your kitchen with your groceries, so the food is hot, made to your taste, and you choose the ingredients.
How far ahead should I book?
At least 3 hours before serving, and up to 60 days ahead. For big parties, book early.
